Mustafa Şengezer

1951 yılında Niğde’de doğdu.Konya Maarif kolejinde orta ve lise öğrenimini tamamladı. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinden 1978 yılında mezun olarak Tıp Doktoru oldu.1986 yılında Genel Cerrahi uzmanı oldu ve aynı yıl içinde Plastik Cerrahi üst ihtisasına başladı. 1988 yılında Plastik Cerrahi ihtisasını tamamlayan Dr. Şengezer ihtisas eğitimi sırasında Almanya’da Amerikan Hava Kuvvetleri Hastanesi Plastik Cerrahi bölümünde görev yaptı.

1988-1989 yıllarında Etimesgut Hava Hastanesinde Plastik Cerrahi Kliniği şefi olarak çalıştı.

1989 yılında GATA Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı’nda yardımcı doçent olarak göreve başladı.

1991-1992 yılarında 1,5 yıl süreyle Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde Kentucky Üniversitesi Plastik Cerrahi Bölümü’nde çalıştı.

1993 yılında plastik cerrahi doçenti oldu. Amerikan Plastik Cerrahi Derneği, Uluslararası Yanık Derneği, Türk Plastik Rekonstrüktif Estetik Cerrahi Derneği (TPRECD), Estetik Plastik Cerrahi Derneği (EPCD) ve Akdeniz Yanık Derneği, Dr. Şengezer’in üyesi olduğu derneklerin bazılarıdır.

1999’da profesör olan Dr. Şengezer 2000 ‘ de Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi (GATA), Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi Ana Bilim Dalı Başkanı olmuştur .

Dr. Şengezer, Plastik Cerrahi eğitimi süresince pek çok kurslara, yurt içi ve yurt dışı kongrelere katılarak en üst düzeyde Plastik Cerrahi bilgi ve deneyimine sahip olmuştur.

Dr. Şengezer’in yurt içi ve yurt dışı pek çok yayını ve bildirileri vardır. Yurt dışı yayınlarının arasında beş adedi kendi alanlarında dünyada ilk kez gerçekleştirilmiş çalışmalardır ve Dr. Şengezer, gerek yurt içinde ve gerekse yurt dışında pek çok ilke imza atmıştır.
